Transforming Visualization in Airway Care

When accuracy is essential, seeing every detail matters. AIMIC transforms anesthetic application from a manual, assumption-based task into a guided, image-supported process. At its core lies angle detection technology that synchronizes three essential actions: spraying, lighting, and imaging.

How the Technology Works

With each press of the activation button, the system performs a precise sequence. The nozzle releases a controlled dose of aerosolized anesthetic while the light source instantly illuminates the spray path. Simultaneously, the camera captures a series of frames and transmits them securely for analysis. These images reveal droplet behavior, spray angle, and coverage uniformity across tissues.

This synchronized mechanism offers clinicians more than a visual display, it provides objective, quantifiable information about the quality of anesthetic delivery.

Design for Precision and Ease of Use

AIMIC’s design is the result of continuous collaboration between engineers and frontline clinicians. The stainless-steel head meets the highest hygiene and durability standards required for hospital use, while the lightweight plastic handle ensures balance and control, even during demanding procedures.

A single activation button simplifies operation, enabling the clinician to manage spray, illumination, and imaging without interruption. Behind the rear cap lies a modular internal structure housing the electrical board, rechargeable battery, and anesthetic chamber. This design allows for easy maintenance and recharging while keeping internal systems safely enclosed.

Camera and Light Synchronization

The camera and light are positioned on opposite sides of the laryngoscope head, framing a corridor through which the aerosol passes. This layout enables precise visualization of droplet motion and distribution. AIMIC can operate in continuous illumination for real-time viewing or in strobe mode for detailed frame-by-frame analysis.

Smart Server-Based Image Analysis

Captured images are processed on AIMIC’s secure server using advanced algorithms. Each frame is examined for spray trajectory, droplet size, and density. Feedback is delivered instantly to the clinician through a display or indicator signals, showing whether the anesthetic coverage meets the desired quality threshold or if another application is required.

Built for Clinical Workflows

AIMIC adapts seamlessly to different settings, from operating rooms and ICUs to teaching hospitals. In emergency situations, it supports rapid, accurate anesthesia delivery; in training environments, it provides invaluable visual guidance for students learning airway management techniques.
